HUMAN: Francine Christophe’s story

What makes us human?

That’s a question filmmaker Yahn Arthus-Bertrand attempts to answer in his latest three-part docu-film series called HUMAN. He interviewed 2,000 humans from all different countries, cultures, and backgrounds to hear their stories.

One of his subjects is Holocaust survivor Francine Christophe from France. When she was eight years old, she and her mother were in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. She tells her story in the camp and the random act of kindness that happened there.

Make sure to have the tissues handy, because this story has an ending that’s nothing short of miraculous.
